Saturday June 26th 

• Strawberry Festival in Haverhill: featuring vendors and strawberry shortcake: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Haverhill Corner Commons. Sponsored by Haverhill Congregational Church. Free admission. 603-787-2571.

Sunday June 27th

• Cedar Circle Farms Strawberry Festival: Lots of family fun and free activities! To go with your strawberry picking and homemade strawberry shortcake and cheesecake, our 2010 Strawberry Festival offers: children’s crafts and games storyteller Simon Brooks from Orford, NH. Horse-drawn wagon rides. Educational activities and displays, self-guided farm tour, and other great food choices, including grilled local sausages, fresh salads, organic ice cream (local of course!), NOFA’s mobile pizza oven and more! Plus LIVE MUSIC! The Wallstiles: Out of Vermont, with a contemporary folk rock sound. $5 per car full. Check their website for a schedule of events. (Thanks Kate for the tip!)
