Fall Foliage Weekend & Harvest Festival
This weekend the Enfield Shaker Museum is having a fall festival. All the festivities are included with general admission to the museum. Admission prices are:
From their website: Enjoy horse drawn wagon rides and see other animals! Use old-fashioned hand-cranked machines and make ice cream, butter and apple cider! Make your own cornhusk dolls, pinecone bird feeders, wee fuzzy sheep and child-sized scarecrows! Jump in a bale of hay! Other activities include dipping candles and making pressed flower bookmarks. Craftspeople will also demonstrate weaving, rug hooking, chair caning, dowsing, and spinning. Lunch will also be served, including Eldress Bertha Lindsay's rosewater apple pie. There will also be a tasting table of various items including onion soup at the "A-Peeling Onions" table.
