White River Jct.: October 30th

"Fright River Flyer Train Ride" The train will take you from White River Junction to the Mills for cookies, cider, treat bags and pumpkins for the kids.  Train departs at 10:30 am and arrives at the Mills at 11:15. Depart from the Mills at 12 and back to the station at 12:45. $15/per person

Woodstock VT: October 30th

Billings Farms A Family Halloween - A not-so-scary, fun celebration for all ages! Doughnuts-on-a-string, pumpkin carving, Halloween tales, wagon rides, and more. Costume parades at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. Children in costume admitted free when accompanied by an adult. View the schedule of activities. $3-$12/per person

Quechee, VT: October 30th

VINS Hoots and Howls: This fun, educational and non-scary Halloween event is great for families and people of all ages. Guided tours lead you along trails lighted by pumpkins as you enjoy storytelling, live animals, a puppet show, skit, activities and more! Wrap up the evening with yummy Tricky Treats and the chance to meet a bird up close. Come in a costume or just be part of the fun! $5 -$7/per person

Hartford, VT: October 30th

9th Annual Halloween Egg Haunt, Parade and Curve Ball: Egg Hunt: Kids and Adults can join us for a fun "Egg Haunt" in Veterans Park, opposite the Main Street Museum on RR Row. Hunt and find eggs and Halloween treats, hidden by members of the Hartford Parks and Rec Department—they know all the best hiding places! More events follow, you can find them Here.

Thedtford Volunteer Fire Department is having a Halloween Trick or Treat Event from 6-8pm. You can RSVP on their facebook page. 

Norwich, VT: October 31st:

Halloween Celebration in front of the Norwich Inn from 3:30-5pm. Come in costume, face & nail painting, fun and games, a family event-all are welcome! Free(If it is raining hard, this event will be canceled).

Grantham has a Haunted Pumpkin Festival (intended for 12 year old and under) on October 3th. They will have trick or treating on October 31st from dusk to 7pm.

With the help of Spring Ledge Farm and Colby-Sawyer College, the New London Recreation Department is hosting its 3rd annual Haunted Woods trail walk/corn maze.  Please come out and enjoy the thrills and chills of Halloween. 

The trail is thru the woods and along the boardwalk, it will be lit by tikki torches but we recommend bringing a flashlight or headlamp for the trick or treat portion.

Canaan & Enfield Halloween Activities

Canaan: Trick or Treating is scheduled for Sunday from  5 to 8 p.m.

Enfield:  Trick or Treating is scheduled for Sunday from 4/5 to 7 pm

Enfield: Halloween Party for children of all ages at the Fire Station, sponsored by Enfield Recreation.

Claremont Halloween Actvities

Since Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, Claremont will not have its popular down town tick or treating at local businesses or its popular costume parade on Pleasant Street. These events will be back next year.

This year they will be celebrating with hay rides and hotdog and marshmallow roast in Monadnock Park from 4-6pm. Town wide trick or treating with be held between 6-8pm.
