We all know the best way to save money on clothing is hand me downs...here is a creative way to get more use from the perfect selection of clothing you might currently have.
Don't you just love the little cute details that make boy clothes boy clothes and girl clothes girl clothes? But how can you use "hand me downs" for both genders? (Take notes if your expecting a different gender this time but have baby clothes from the first child saved.) Check out this simple no sew project for one of a kind creations. It is so easy all that is needed is an iron!
Joann's Fabric (West Leb or online) has iron on appliques. This simple project can be just the right touch to turn that pair of jeans from boy to girlie with a simple flower and an iron. Take a solid white oneies and create a one of a kind "all boy" oneies with a Disney Cars applique. Get creative and you will have no problem turning all your clothes different genders.
Have older children? Try on sweatshirts, shorts, hats, etc.
Also a great project to just add a little flare to your childs clothes.
