Rock Tools Camps hosted by Upper Valley School of Rock

 Upper Valley School of Rock is offering ROCK TOOLS CAMPS, held in Norwich will be offered at 3 levels this year. Each Camp Meets from 9-1PM. Kellogg recall on Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Froot Loops and Honey Smacks

Kellogg has voluntarily recalled certain packages of Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, Corn Pops and Honey Smacks cereals Friday due to a strange waxy-like taste and odor believed to be coming from the liner of the package.

Kids Flower Class at the Co-op

The co-op is having a flower class for children. You can sign up here. They say the seats go quickly so sign up early!

About the class:

Give a child his or her first look at flowers and learn how to put flowers into arrangements. We will first do simple bud vases—showing the natural curves of flowers, and ratios of flower to container. This class will also cover explanations of oasis, how to cut flowers, the importance of clean water for long lasting flower arrangements, and the joy of giving flowers to someone!

This class is open to participants ages 18 and under. Caregivers should accompany a child under 12.

2 Million Cribs Recalled!

More drop side cribs were recalled, due to the concern that a baby could become trapped. The companies involved in the recall were Evenflo, Delta Enterprises Corp., Child Craft, Jardine Enterprises, LaJobi, Million Dollar Baby and Simmons Juvenile Products Inc.

Here is the CPSC release which lists which cribs are involved and asks the crib owners to contact the crib manufacture directly for instuctions on what needs to be done.  Most are requiring a repair kit. Company contact info can be found on the CPSC release.
